    Hi Pinstack,

My top left keyboard lock key is not responding whenever I press on it. Does anyone know what might be the problem? Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

Top left key is the keyboard lock
Top right key is the mute key

Sounds like a hardware problem. IS the phone still under warranty or do you have insurance on it?

I have the same problem with mine. It is either extremely slow to respond or has to be pressed a few times before it does what it's supposed to. The back or end call buttons have the same issues. :-(

Could be hardware issue and that's most likely it with so many keys being affected. In all honesty, the easiest option would be to have it warrantied out. If you want to troubleshoot it, you could try to eliminate a software glitch by reinstalling the OS, but I'm leaning more towards something hardware related.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Means dealing with the T-Mobile store *rolls eyes*. I also don't want a refurbished phone in place of mine which is what I'm afraid they will do. Mine's not even 6mo old and it started doing this almost from the get go. I took it to be "just one of the issues" with this model as I'd read other people having similar issues with it, so sucked it up and dealt with it. But apparently it's not the case. Guess I'm gonna have to continue to live with it, or go to the store and get a headache.
