Question Tmobile to ATT with 8320

I just switched to ATT service from TMO and everything is working fine except that about 10 icons on the screen all look like tmobile icons (pink circle with a T in the middle).. These icons are for SHOP APPLICATIONS, SHOP TONES, SHOP GRAPHICS, SHOP GAMES, SHOP THEMES, SHOP TUNES, COMMUNITY, MUSIC APPS, MEDIA NET and SHOP MULTIMEDIA.. Any ideas of how to make them look like they are supposed to look like or am I stuck with those.. The phone is unlocked..

Interesting I have none of these on my 8320 on TMO. I believe most of what you are looking at is driven by service books or are TMO items you have added. Now that you are no longer on TMO if you delete them they should not come back. You can try deleting them from the applications list in desktop manager (if any appear there) and/or delete the service books (under options/advanced on your device), or you can simply upgrade your device operating system and I bet they will go away....

That's the thing.. I am using this phone with AT&T service and the service books I received are ATT service books but all the icons look like the pink Tmobile icons (they are all the same but do different things)..

Ok, sorry I misunderstood that these were ATT apps....did you in any way wipe the device when you changed providers? Whats your current operating system version?

I'm running 4.5.0.110 from ATT.. And yes, I did wipe the device before I switched the sim cards from TMO to ATT..

Duh.... sorry I am a little dense today

The phone still thinks it belongs to TMO, so the TMO themes are the ones that will load with the operating system. If you want this to look like an ATT device (icons) you will probably need to unlock the AT&T themes...I will link to instructions for that - stand by.

Here you go! In order to save space / memory you may want to just unlock the AT&T themes (vendor id# 102)
