    TMO MMS and the curve

I am able to receive mms messages but for some reason I cannot send them on my 8320. I can draft up the message but the message immediately gets the red X and will not even attempt to send or make a connection. I've tried on wifi and on GSM. Any ideas?

Not to sound funny, but have you tried sending one to yourself first?

Now save it for us ATT slugs who don't even have the option to attempt an MMS...

I learned that trick when I got the Pearl... T-Mobile had to xfer to me to the actual engineering group that could manually remove my provisioning status, and re-add it back it. Then he's like "You know when you get a new phone on our network, in order for our network to know your new device is MMS capable you have to send yourself an MMS to self provision right?" ---- My jaw fell to the floor.

I wonder if someone sends an MMS to a person with the 8320 on att if that would help?
Success is not final, Failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that matters.

probably not.. being sent a picture won't add the needed service book or edit the current one.

haha, sorry, but if it helps, I highly doubt loading the 8310 OS will brick your new phone, but at worst it may disable your wifi.

you could always just reload the 8320 OS if it did and it would be a great test for all those wanting to unlock an 8320 for ATT. go for it!
