has anyone noticed that the instant messenger service is a little different from the pearl or the 8700g. they show that the 8700 and pearl hae oz im optional install but list aol, yahoo, etc as messaging options.
on the curve it shows bb messenger pre-install, and aol, yahoo, windows live etc...whats the difference, does anyone know?

The evaluation units actually have the yahoo type ( the one you can download) programs on there. But they still cannot connect. Maybe they will release those service books on Sunday or Monday.

hope they do. I got them on my bb8700 and I just can't connect. I am very exited about this product. I won't buy another ipod nor I phone.don't get me wrong their technology is remarkable but there are several things that I don't like from them. I can't find something I don't like on da curve !!!!

how about the buried sd slot and the counter-intuitive UI? dont get me wrong i like it and will prob be one of the early adopters at tmo on monday as i'm just pissed at apple for not at least having a user replaceable battery and more memory OR an sd slot.... but a common sense mac-like interface it is not...not by a longshot.
