u need to keep the original browser since any ota installations will require it and won't open correctly in mini opera. i actually use both browsers and have been playing with the new browser in a beta of 4.3.1. the new browser is alot better but i find mini opera still has its uses.

You have to go to options>advanced options>TCP then enter wap.voicestream.com as the APN and leave the username and password blank. Save and then try connecting to Opera Mini again and you should be good.

Another thing to: you'll want to close out of your opera browser after each use, otherwise your MMS messages you send will get the dreaded red x of doom every time you try to send them.

It does this to me all the time on my 8320, and the only fix is to close the browser or turn the phone off and back on. Then MMS works just fine.
