when your headset is connected, is there a way to answer the call and use the phone instead of the headset? i know you can open the menu and have it transfer the call to the phone but when you actually answer the call it seems it has to be picked up by the headset

Try holding the headset's answer button for 2-3 secs. It worked with one of my headsets a while ago. Didn't try it with a Berry though.
Let me know if it worked. Thanks!

I think it will only transfer if the bluetooth is connected. If I have the BT headset on, that's where I want the call to go. I just shut my headset off if I want to use the handset speaker. I really think you'll have a hard time putting the phone to your ear with the headset there though. ;-)

if youre using a headset like the motorola h700 you can keep the boom mic closed and you can answer it through the handset and then open the boom mic to activate the bluetooth with the h700
