Hmmm, it does not say UMA, just a wifi symbol where edge usually is. Is there something I need to do?

    just thought of another question...

When you're on a call using WiFi and you loose that connection and the device switches back to EDGE, will the call drop?
Like the angel you are you laugh creating a lightness in my chest,
    Your eyes they penetrate me,
    (Your answer's always 'maybe')
That's when I got up and left.

It depends on a couple factors. One is your local tower MUST be a t-mobile tower or the call will drop. Also there has to be 15 to 30 seconds available for the switch to take place, so for example, if you are on WIFI and the modem is unpluged the connection drops to quick to switch, Or if the Signal out side your house is very low, and you get out of range of the WIFI befor ethe EDGE NW can be detected it will drop. There is a known issue TMO is working on for call dropping when switching form EDGE to UMA (WIFI) or vise versa. SO when all things are working as they should, No it is not supposed to drop. But we know how things can be.

All the T-mobile WIFI BBs are Supposed to (Curve 8320, 8820, and the Pearl 2 8120), but all things being equal, it doesn't always switch.
