I have the problem too, and others (I've verified) and there is no known fix yet. Funny thing is, I have a co-hart who has the 8330 on Alltel as I do and she doesn't have the problem. I also have another co-hart with the 8330 on Verizon and he DOES have the problem. I think we're all running 4.5.0.77 currently. Go figure.

It's annoying but I put up with it and keep going.

I have the 8330 from sprint with OS 4.5.0.77 and I change out my batteries every 2 days. I have never had that problem. I would cal your carrier to see if they are aware of the issue.

I don't think it's a carrier issue althought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

As I said in the three solid examples that I know of:

    - 8330, Verizon - has the problem
    - 8330, Alltel - has the problem
    - 8330, Alltel - does NOT have the problem
plus this person: 8330, Sprint/Nextel - intermittent problem

That's not very much data but it's inconsistent enough to suggest that the carrier isn't the problem IMO.
