    Okey.. But i still couldent find the exact part i was looking for tough :/.

    unless its the same as the keyboard? Are those 2 the same thing?

    Not really for sure. I have seen both, Keyboard with trackball and Keys, and just Keyboard. It identifies which is which though.
    On to learning to love my pearl :)

    I am having the same problem with my 8310. I haven't bought the replacement trackball yet. My daughter said that "something" else popped off after her using her finger to select features with. I am wondering if just buying the new assembly will fix it or if there is another piece that needs to be replaced also. Did you ever get yours working again?

    By the pic that was posted you are missing the top part of the button (thats on the board itself). I have fixed these in the past by taking the button off an old phone.. It is just held on by a lil yellow sticker (bad design if ya ask me) I looked on the net for ya and did not see the part needed. Next time I take one apart at work I will take a pic to show ya what I mean.

    i have the same problem.. there should be a gold thing on top of the board that makes the ball click ,, , i dont have that! is there any where i could buy that? i dont want to take somewhere and they tell me something i already know and they are going to want me to pay anywayz!!

    I am having the same problem and mine looks just like that - please let me know if you figured out how to have this fixed or where to get the replacement parts. Thanks for any help in advance.

    EDIT: Fixed it by using instructions on post #16 on this page http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ont-click.html luckily, i had access to a broken blackberry that i was able to get the part from
