    Question Taking A Big Dump!!!!!

So I have had my Curve now for a couple of months and for the first time I have had a problem. I had recived a text and went to go check it and there was no message and my Curve had dumped all my messages and my recent call list. I went to check my "keep messages" in genral options and I had set it for forever and that is what it's set on. Why did my Curve take a big DUMP on me?

I don't want to update my OS to Optus yet because I want to be able to send MMS texts.

What should I do other than wipe my Curves butt after taking a huge dump?

P.S. I did the whole battery pull thing.....

Sounds like it had a memory issue.... mine does it sometimes... I try to keep the logs clean and only keep what i must on it.

I also save all my pics and such to the media card.

I am having this problem as well and can not find any links or searches on what is happening. Would or can anyone explain it for me?

Its just the memory of the BB crashing for whatever reason. I sugest keeping daily\weekly backups and syncing your devices as often as possible if you've had this problem. But it isn't something that should happen often, I've used BBs for 2 years now, used more than 10 devices, and never had it happen. I'd say if it happens, get your BB replaced\repaired, as it may be an ongoing issue.

Delete all the unused languages -- that will fix it.
Oh, and the title of this thread got me just like the last one.

So it's a memory full issue brooke?
Good to know, that's why I've never encountered it, I always take out the extra languages and apps that I don't use. Erase that Blackberry Demo video too!

Yes, it's due to the memory being full. Delete any unused applications (especially the unused languages), do a battery pull, and you should be fine.

another option is to upgrade to the OPTUS OS. I was having frequent memory dumps (2-3 times a week). I updated my OS last week and no crashes since...
