    Hey gang, I just got my curve today and after charging my device and placing in my sim chip and my 2gb memory card i turned on my curve and i let it do its thing, did the setup and all and for whatever reason my phone turns off after about 20 seconds of turning on, but when I remove the memory card the phone is fine. Why is this? anyone else run into this yet? I mean its day 1 and I can't use my 2gb memory card, whats up with that

    Sometimes the card doesn't work right until you format it in the phone.

    WELCOME TO THE STACKS!!

    take the mem card out of the phone and put it in the computer you may need to format it. ( i had a similar problem with a corrupted file)

    if your computer is like mine and does not accept microSD cards (and you don't have a USB compatible reader for the card)
    keep it in the phone and make sure mass storage mode is on. you can then format the card as if it were a drive in your computer.

    try that it should help

    funny thing is i was using that memory card on my BB pearl from T-mobile. I have been using that card for over 2 years already.

    save all of the info and then do it.
    sometimes you just need to start with a clean slate
