    synchronizing with Curve

I am going to replace my pda and my phone with a Curve. The problem is that I do not intent to subscribe to internet service. Is there a way to synchronize the planner with a computer w/o having the internet service? I know this is probably a dumb question for you experts because you can't understand why someone would buy a Curve w/o getting the internet. Plain and simple: I'm looking to replace my phone and pda with a single device.

If you use Outlook you can sync via Bluetooth or USB with your BB. No need for a plan.

many carriers will require you to get a BlackBerry data plan (around $30/mo) to purchase a BlackBerry. If you just want it for texting and PDA organizing I would look into a Treo. IMO they are a bit more PDA'ish, where as the BlackBerry is geared towards email.

yup I hate selling out pdas without a data plan but if they are really set on ONE then i point them towards a windows based or a palm

Which version of Outlook do you recommend for the Blackberry? Opinions appear to be diverse.
