    Symbol on home screen

    Hi all,

Trying to understand a symbol on my homescreen. Haven't seen it before.

It appears right under the date, just to the left of my e-mail message counter.

It looks almost like a white fence with a red star in front of it. Yesterday it read 1, today it reads 2.

Is it a reminder for something, or a type of notification?????

    Thanks for your help

    Have you checked your voicemail?
That might be what it is. I can't really think of any thing else ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Thanks. No. Checked that already, and that symbol appears in a different place.

Funny though, now I'm up to 3 of whatever that symbol represents....

While in messages hit the menu key, then scroll to view folders. Check in browser messages and WAP push messages to see if there's anything there. Have you recently subscribed to a new service of some sort that sends weather or news updates or something like that?

    Thanks Azstar,

Checked that and nothing there that I can see.

I'll try taking a picture of the home screen and post it later.

Any of these look like the culprit?

Are you using one of the default themes or something else? I don't know how much these symbols can be edited in the theme builder, but try switching to a dimension theme and see if the symbol changes.

Also have you recently downloaded anything new, added alerts to any program or anything just prior to this starting?

in the new theme builder you can change the notification icon sets I bet theat's what it is very odd that you can't find a notice in your phone.
