    Strange problem with media manager

Ok .. maybe I got this wrong. I thought with 64 mbs of space i can upload a mp3 to my phone using media manager.

Everytime I try, I get not enough space.

Weird .. do I need a micro sd to store mp3s eventhough I am going to use it as a ringtone?

You actually have much less then 64MB available to use. If you go to options>status you will see how much is really available. The answer to your question is, it depends on how big the MP3 file is and how much available memory you have. You can get a 1 GB media card delivered from newegg for $15, well worth the investment.

But if you purchase a MicroSD Memory card and install it in your Curve, you can download a bunch of them. Actually you can do it to device memory, but the file size is limited to 2.8 meg transfers.

    Hope this helps

Since you have an 8300 Curve I recommend getting a 4 gig MicroSDHC card so you can store a bunch of music/movies/ringtones/photos. The technology behind the HC (high capacity) part of MicroSDHC is that your Curve supports up to 32 gig micro SDHC cards. Now they just gotta release something higher than 4 gig.
