    Standby button

Does anyone find this button hard to press on the curve? I mean I almost have to use my fingernail to press it down enough for the phone to recognize it. Do you guys even put your curve into standby mode that often?

I don't find it hard to press. I use it every night when I leave my phone on the charger for the night. Works for me pretty good.

. Oh great! Thanks for making me think I have an abnormal standby button. Better go get a replacement before the warranty is up. LOL. Jk ;op. Maybe its just that I have phat phinger syndrome. Lol

LOL. Well if it is really hard to press, you might want to think about replacing it
because it really shouldn't be too hard to press down.
I must admit though, I do kind of use my nail. It is a tiny button. This is the same
button used for quick muting call and audio alerts too.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ ya I can just see myself at a lecture and my phone goes off and I can't mute it and the professor yells at me "Turn that thing off!" "I'm trying, I'm trying!"

Fat finger syndrome here as well. I never put my curve on standby. But I remember it wasn't this difficult on my pearl.

I use it frequently, whenever I'm not using the holster, and I don't find it hard to press, either. It does require a little extra effort, but that's to make sure you don't hit it accidentally. You have to really WANT to press it. I have fat fingers, too, and I just mash one down on it using the whole pad instead of the tip.

A friend of mine glued a bead on a button to make it easier to press... Not sure what phone it was though

Actually, if you wave a magnet over the front of your Curve, it will suspend, but you have to hold it there. That's why I love the holster.

Yep... 2nd best feature of the OEM cases...(Behiind protection). Talk about increasing battery life
