    Sprint BB 8330 on Boost?

    Hello, experts!

New to this smart phone thing, so bear with me. I recently received a used BB Curve 8330 that was originally used with the Sprint network, but the owner no longer needed it, so she deactivated it. My question is, can I use the BB with the Boost network, or do I have to purchase a one that is marketed under the Boost Mobile brand?
    Thanks.

Yes, there is a way to put the Sprint 8330 on Boost Mobile. Everything will work except for BB Messenger, BIS and Push Mail on their $50.00 unlimited plan. In order to have BIS, etc. you would have to purchase the Boost Mobile branded Blackberry, $249.99 and the $60.00 unlimited plan.

I had this same question! I don't mind missing out on the Blackberry Messenger. But what is the push mail, and the BIS?

Push Mail: Email is sent to an email client on your phone automatically without you having to initiate a request.
BIS: Blackberry Internet Service, Blackberry's data plan.
