Hi I just got my new blackberry curve 8300 and this is my first time here. I love the phone but I'm getting really frustrated because when I dial a number when the phone is on vibrate, the dialing noise still comes up! And I've tried putting it on quiet mode, but the sound still comes up. Are all blackberries just like this or is there something wrong with mine?! =(

Go to options>screen/keyboard and turn key tone to off!

I don't think you can do anything about that. Sorry, I thought you were talking about keypad sounds.

Oh no I was talking about the dialing a number sound. So this is the case for all blackberries not just mine? Bc I've read other people's replies saying that they just put their phones on vibrate or quiet and that gets rid of the dialing sound.

Well I don't think I can be done, but I have been known to be wrong. Maybe someone else knows the answer to this.
