Does anyone know how to directly import songs from ipod to bb curve?
I am using the Desktop manager but the ipod does not show up as an available source for transfer to the bb.

you can't transfer them. you have to burn onto a cd and then rip it onto your computer, then transfer.

I don't believe that you can. If you use WMP 11 (11 or 10) you can direclty put music onto your BB using the SYNC tab. You just drag it over from the library. Thats the easiest way that I know of.

Ipods don't work like mass storage devices, so you would need a program like ephod (http://www.ephpod.com/). You can rip the songs off your iPod and then transfer them to your curve. It might be more work than you are looking for, but I think it might be the only way to achieve your goal.

Check this out, it shows how to take them off the pod to use.
I believe if you can copy straight to your BB, drag/drop the mass storage device. Enjoy
