    so, I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T, how do I set up email?

    Everytime I try to set it up it says my pin is already taken. I don't remember my login or password so I click forgot password and it says, sent to your phone. It must be going to my T-moble part of it

    any solutions

    follow these steps and let us know how it works:
    1) shut off all connections
    2) wipe handheld
    3) boot phone with ATT SIM
    4) turn on mobile network, allow to register
    5) in ATT BIS settings, select "change device"
    6) put in PIN and IMEI, and you should be good to go

    OR you need T-Mobile to release the PIN. Shouldn't, though.

    I've gotten the "device pin is already in use before" notice when I was re-registering an older device. Just had to make sure my IMEI, and PIN were entered correctly. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

    So when you switched did you cancel the account you had on TMO? If you PIN is still registered with TMO then you wull need to call them to get it released.

    What software? All u need to do is release your pin on tmo and then use the *set up personal email* icon on the pearl to log on and set up your att account. There isn't software out there that will turn your tmo pearl into an att pearl.

    You may have to call tmo and have them release the pin. Are you using the same phone from tmo? Or did you get a new one? Well I guess that isn't really important if you have service.
