Question slow curve after 4.5 upgrade

Hello. I have 8320 with T-Mo. I have tried working with OS 4.5.0.52 and 4.5.0.55 and with both version I am having the same problem (aside from the memory leak). After certain amount hour the devices becomes REALLY slow, almost non-responsive. There is no hourglass. I takes a while to respond to any key stroke, whether the escape, or menu key or anything else. The only way to fix this unresponsiveness is to turn the phone off by press-hold power button, which also takes a time to react to, OR a battery pull.

Does anyone else have a similar issue? is this an aftereffect of 4.5 or is there something more here? i never had that problem when i had 4.2 from T-mo.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

You need to up-grade to a newer os like 4.5.069 or wait for the pending release because there will be issues untill then. Good luck.

it dont matter what carrier it is as long as its the same device-8320. you just have to erase the vendor(i think its the vedor.exe file)

Program Files -> Common Files -> Research In Motion -> AppLoader
Delete the Vendor.xml file. This is what i was talking about earlier about the vendor.xml file. Thats how you get to it to erase it to make it work on you phone.

im looking for it and its still a beta from what i can see. We are not allowed to post betas so you will have to search for it. Most sites where i went to get it are all disabled so its going to be tough to find it.

I had the memory leak issue previously before too but after upgrading it seems to me working better. I was wondering tho, could the slowness be related to the amount of music I have on my BB? I only have a gig, but everything seems to be slower when Im listening to music (since when I do listen to it I tend to browse the internet or play games at the same time or all 3)

    Just wondering
My Focus may become Jaided but never my determination...

    OS versions

So when you're talking about the OS version. Are you talking about the package version or the application version?

I went to Orange UK to download the new OS and they show:
    BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.75 (Multilanguage)

    Package Version: 4.5.0.75
    Consisting of:
    • Applications: 4.5.0.52
    • Software Platform: 2.7.0.66
    • File name: 8320M_PBr4.5.0_rel75_PL2.7.0.66_A4.5.0.52_Orange_U .K.exe
    • File size: 75.87MB

So is this os 4.5.0.75 or 4.5.0.52?

    Thanks
