It's free but you can upgrade to a paid tier. I tried the free version. It too slow. I deleted it.

Maybe I'll try it again. It bogged down my 8320 and streamed really slow. Reloading now.

Did you set up an account? You have to log in via email and password to play it.

go to their web page and setup an account. i have had no problems on my 8320 but I always use it via UMA/wireless. you do have to have at least 5 meg available on your sd

You only need the space on the memory card if you want to cache/save music. That's a nice feature for times when you know you won't have data coverage, like air travel.

...and Emmc, have you tried it wireless. If you can do that it should be fine or, if you have a decent carrier signal it should be fine too. I, like Azstar, am a BIG fan of Slacker and only use the free version. I listen to it on my BB and my p-c.

yep, being able to cache is a very nice feature. I use it alot, even thinking about giving up the sirius in the car and pluging the BB into the aux

I use the free version of slacker on my phone, but can't give up Sirius because we like Howard and I enjoy Radio Classics.

You make a good point Golden, there are some things on Sirius I'd rather not give up. I wish Sirius or Slacker would carry Coast To Coast Am and some other talk shows I enjoy.
