    Skeptic

Ok, so I am skeptical. I am still running the lastest 4.2 from US TMobile, and am really ready for 4.3,4.5, or whatever it is these days.

    Is it worth the upgrade?

And what is the best route for upgrading?

I have been out of the loop for a while, but am interested again.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~definitely worth it, specially now a days, the fact that the latest built is much more stable than previous 4.5

All of us had 4.2 and now most of us (including a few skeptics) are using 4.5!

Even this newbie went to 4.5 I like it. I just have to remember that some of the games I have won't run or will lock up. I hope they are updated soon.

4.5 is great. just wish they'd figure out how to make it work with a media card.

I have a 8320 and I'm running .52. Works great minus some little annoyances but all together well worth it!

I guess it's not compatible or something 'cause whenever I put it in, the phone reboots non-stop

    WhitePearl,

Someone wrote in a thread last night (I'll see if I can find it) that when he looked at his music files in Media Manager, there were some missing attributes or something in the files. In addition to the other steps we've mentioned before (upgrading the device without the media card, dumping the media to the PC and reformatting the card in the device with the 4.5 OS) he also deleted those files containing the missing attributes before reloading the music to the card. Maybe you should try this to see if it doesn't resolve your problem.

I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

    Roger

Like many of you, after the OS upgrade I was plagued by constant rebooting as long as my media card was in my device. I found a solution that seems to be working well. Here it is.

    1. Using Desktop Manager / Media Manager, copy the entire contents of your media card to your PC.

    2. Format the media card using your 4.5 device.

    3. Using Media Manager, I noticed that some of my pictures had nothing in the attributes column. Therefore, copy only those images that have attributes back onto the media card.

That seems to have done it for me. Just as a test I put a couple pics on the media card that had nothing in the attribute column and my device started rebooting again.

I hope this at least helps a few of you...

Wow I'll try when I get home tonight. Thx for the help! Btw what happens to the files without attributes? They just can't be in the berry at all?
