Question Seperate my Hotmail and Outlook Email

OK, thanks to this awesome website I was finally able to figure out how to seperate my SMS Messages from my email, but here is the last thing I cant seem to figure out.

I have my hotmail account and my work email account, which is outlook, on my BlackBerry Curve. My Hotmail has its own folder, which I love. But my work email is dumping into the all messages folder which is combined with my hotmail account. How do I create a seperate folder for my work email?

Are you on BES or BIS? If you are on BES I don't think you can do that unless your IT admin will allow it. If you are on BIS then they should have separate icons and you can set up a filter to prevent the work email from being sent to your personal BB. Does that answer your question?

I think I am BES, it is linked to my outlook directly, if I delete an email on my BB it delets on my outlook and Vice Versa. Same thing with Contacts, if I add a contact on either my BB it shows on my Outlook and Cice Versa again. That means its BES right?

Is your BB company issued? If your employer issued you the BB or if they pay the bill then it's probably BES. If so, I don't think you will be able to separate the outlook email. It's directly linked there and all email will be dumped there. I don't know of a way, unless your IT admin will allow it.

Yes it was issued by my company and the bill is paid by then. I guess I am stuck with it this way then.

And I assume there is no way for me to filter the hotmail from going into the general message folder is there?

If your BES is 4.1.5+ your BES admin can allow it. Many BES admins DO NOT know of this new functionality as it is a little hidden. Show them this BTSC Document and they will probably enable it
