Question seperate email alert from sms text

    Hey everyone,
I thought when i went into the options for my email and clicked the "seperate" option instead of the "combined" option under the SMS and email inboxes part of the general options, it would make it so that when i get an email it would just go to the email section but instead it relocates it back to both my text inbox and email inbox. Am I doing this wrong? any information or a link to a past post would help a lot, thank you

I don't think you can prevent an email from going to the default messages box or the box corresponding to the account it comes from.

so basically i should just hide one of the icons so both dont show that I got a message? there has to be a way because that makes it look un organized. I would rather notice i have 1 text message in my inbox and 3 emails differenciated by both icons, understand what I sorta mean?

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Hide all your email accounts and use the message icon. If you have multiple emails its a lot easier to just use the message icon. Everything basically filters unto the general message icon anyways.

I do what reddog suggests. Just use the Messages icon and then use the text message folder for those.

End result: all emails (from 6 accounts) in mu messages folder and all SMS/MMS in my text message folder. Works great!

4.5 OS will have L theme I believe...I read that in the beta thread.

More icon space on main screen for more emails.
