    Sending audio through email???

I sent my friend a ringtone that's MP3 and the size is like 300+K. He tried opening it and this is what he got.

"Unrecognized document format. Resend? Yes or no"

He resent it back to me so I can try and open it. I end up getting the same error message.

I'm thinking its not possible to send audio (MP3) through email on the Curve.

If it is possible, can someone let me know!!!

    Good looks!

Assuming your friend has a BlackBerry, go to Options --> Advanced Options --> Applications, and make sure the BlackBerry Attachment Service is installed (and the version matches the Core Applications version).

If it isn't, they'll need to download the latest OS for their device and update it using Desktop Manager.

If it IS installed, they may need to go to the BIS site and have their service books resent.

I am trying to do the same exact thing, and this is not working for me either.

I have the blackberry attachment service installed and this still says "unrecognized document format".

can someone please explain how to get this 20 second mp3 clip onto the phone without having a memory card.

    Thanks
