Is there an easier way to select a mass number of emails without having to hold "shift" and scrolling down? For example, if I want to delete 55 consecutive gmail emails, is there any way to, for example, press "shift" then space bar to select emails by the screenload? Or do I have to just press"shift" then scroll, scroll, scroll?

You could search for the emails that you want to delete, say they are all from friend@gmail.com and you want to delete ALL of them then you can search for friend@gmail.com and just scroll to the top and delete prior. Also you could delete them from specific dates say you recieved 10 on April 1st and 13 on March 30th, you can select March 30th and delete prior from there....

    Hope this helps!

I was also wondering how to delete all emails if you want to. I have BIS and I am deleting my emails one at a time. Help!

Scroll to the top and click -> full menu -> select delete prior.

    That should do it!

I learned about this not too long ago (mabye 2 or 3 months). Before that, I was holding shift and scrolling down my messages to highlight them all.

It took me a long.. long time. So PLEASE pass this useful information on!

I noticed that when you use the "delete prior" function, you no longer get an option to "delete on mailbox & handheld" OR "delete on handheld." I assume that when you use the "delete prior" function, you are only deleting on the handheld. Is this correct? I did check my gmail account on my computer after doing a "delet prior," and did not see any emails missing. I was just hoping someone could confirm.

Delete prior only deletes messages on the handheld. To get the option for mailbox, hold the shift key while scrolling up or down and then choose delete.
