    ????

and why cant i send private messages on here?

You can't send Private Messages on Pinstack until you have at least 10 posts. When you try to send a PM it clearly states why you are unable to.

Re: Seidio Extended Battery for Curve released...

For those who need more power, Monday (9/10), Seidio will announce a 2600 mah super extended battery for Blackberry 8300/curve.

    - It will more than double the battery life (around 2.5 times) as compared with stock battery
    - A new battery door is needed. It is rubberized in black.
    - The battery door comes with a speaker grill (like our Blackberry 8100 extended battery) which provides a better sound quality

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Thanks for the info. If only it didn't mean my curve wouldn't fit in my case.

    I'll keep you posted.
I bought a Seido slim extended battery for my 8100 and I noticed it took a few full charges/discharges before the battery life grew to its maximum.

My hubby says i am just paranoid that my battery will die on me... I get very uncomfortable when its in the 20% range...... and this happens almost every day..

Well I have cycled my new slim extended battery a couple times. The first day I left JiveTalk open all day because to be honest...hello I want to use JT. The battery literally dropped before my eyes.

Today I just used it with no apps running other than using my camera a couple times and chatting heavily on my BBM which I always do and same result....I just checked my batt level and it was at 20% and it was only off the charger for maybe 4 hours. I'm hoping it will improve because to be honest...this is no better than the battery that came with my phone.

I ordered it too and found myself very disappointed in the results.
In fact I might be dropping Seidio a little love note real soon....letting them know
exactly how I feel about their so called extended life battery.

With our batteries you will typically notice an increase in performance after about 5-6 charges. Also, since 15% may be a little harder to see than our larger extended batteries, you might try a more direct comparison. For me, no two days usage are exactly the same so you might try running some videos or something to compare them to your OEM.

If you then think the battery is defective please contact me and I'll get you a replacement. If you think the battery is fine but you decide 15% just isn't enough we will have the larger replacement with an extended door soon.

    Thanks,

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I picked up the extended battery when it first came out and I've been very happy with it.My Curve's been off the charger for 19 hours and still has over 50% power. I've had JT running as well as Viigo and Journal Bar updating every 2 hours. I've probably received 200 emails but I didn't use the phone. The OEM battery would have been in the red by now. I think it does a great job. That's my .02.

hey ninja, did u try using the extended battery for pearl on the curve?? i am using it on the curve, with a significant increase in batt life. whats good is that, though its a tight fit, i can still use my oem backdoor.
