I am used to just throwing my phone in my pocket... this is my first BB (a curve) are there any major scratch problems I should be aware of or do they hold up pretty well.

    Re: Scratches?

get a Bestskinsever cheap and effective.

You may not want to just throw your BB into your pocket either. If you have that leather pouch that came with it I would keep it in their if you don't want issues later down the road.

The trackball will collect lint, and the screen will collect dust if you're not careful.

So Scratches are the least of your worries.

Mine didn't, but you can either find them at the ATT stores or order them online.

it comes with a pouch but that seems like a pain to me, I just bought a couple screen protectors, and i hope that does the job

The pouch can be a pain and is not for everyone, but it will keep the dust from getting under the screen which is a known issue with the Curve.

Yes, u will have major issues with scratches. Screen is very easily scrathced, top part rubber will start flaking, better to use the pouch and screen protector.

    Re: Scratches?

So far everyone is right. The Curve is known to collect dust around the mouse and under the screen. The 8300 is prone to having the rubber peal. The screen should be protected at all times. Maybe you should get a hard cover case. I have a 8310 (AT&T) phone, but found a cheap $10 hard case at Tmo. It's pink, too!

How hard is it to just change the case if it gets too scratched up?
