Never had a problem w/mine and I am a big media Freak. What's going on, or is this an "in-general" statement?

Not at all, works fine for me. Plus I use it to burn audio CD's.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~It runs super slow and it takes forever to copy and paste media. I prefer to do it with media card out and manually plugged into the USB port and treat it like a Mass Storage device. Its just sooooooo slow.

A faster way to transfer your media is to turn on Mass Storage Device on your BB. Plug in your BB to the PC.

My Computer > Click your device (SD card) > transfer your media by clicking and dragging it to the folders. This way is much faster.

Sound like you might have issue w/pc...Roxio runs slow for me if I am downloading large files on desktop...If pc has programs running in background, this will slow it down. The opening of Roxio and the moving of media are functions controlled by pc. Close all unnessasary programs then try. (Might have to re-boot pc.) Good luck! I use mass-storage mode to x-fer .3gp movies-Super fast! But sometimes mass-storage can cause errors and fragmenting on your card...so I treat my card like a drive...defrag/chkdsk/etc. Keeps it tip-top!
