    Ring Tones

    Hello All,
I just got a new 2gb card and now that I have the space, I want to load music onto my bb. But what I want to be able to do is load ring tones onto my bb directly from my computer. Is that possible? Do the ring tones have to be mp3, or is a wav file going to work? I'm pretty computer savvy, but the bb is a little different.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
You can load using media manager in your Desktop Manager. I'm pretty sure either format will work for ringtones. When transferring just make sure you put the files in the correct folder on your BB i.e. Ringtones in ringtones and songs in music folder.

Hope this makes sense I'm a little tired.

That makes perfect sense. Does anyone know of an mp3 editor that can cut parts of mp3s to use to make the ring tones?

I use Audacity and love it! I used it for my SYNC and now for my BB.

I have Audacity, but when I try to save the edited file as a mp3, it asks for a lame_enc.dll file. So, I downloaded it and tried to point the file to it, but it won't recognize it. Now what?
