Removing factory BB themes..is there a way?
I'd like to remove/delete 4 themes (BB Dimension L/BB Dimension Zen, etc) that I'm guessing come automatically with phone. I never use these themes and want to make space for the one's 1 really like & us. Is there a way to remove factory installed BB themes??
I'm not trying to removed downloaded themes.
You can use apps such as maxmem to do this but need to be careful if you delete the wrong themes it will cause others not to work. Deminsion Zen and Today are two I am sure need to stay.
interesting that you mention that I can possible damage/distort other themes. Do you think we need the original BB themes on device to run other themes correctly? Interesting....
I am sure of the fact I just can't remember of hand which ones it is you MOST keep. Maybe someone like cherri or pdx can chime in and remind me which ones they are.
Well, If you remove your preloaded themes, then other themes that you want to download will not show up. (Example) If you remove the BB Today theme, then today themes won't work and so on. I suggest leaving them on because it could also affect 3rd party apps.

Thanks so much for the clarification. I'll just leave them alone!
But maxmem is still worth checking out...you may find that you can make a lot of room with it by deleting, say, voice dialing.
Good Plan. Bad things happen when you remove them. It is something like the bad things that happen when you tear off the DO NOT REMOVE tags on matresses etc..... Very Bad Kharma!!
