    Removing A BES Policy?

I have a new guy that used his personal bbry (8300) at his old company and it's got a security policy on it. He's not receiving mail for the other company anymore and he did a wipe handheld, but the security policy is still on there. He doesnt' want the device to lock out. Does he have to get his carrier to do remove it or will installing an updated OS fix it?

OS update won't take it off, there is a thread here about removing a policy. It involves getting a new policy file, desktop manager, and some computer registry edits.
