    Remove PTT on 8310

Do the instructions located on pinstack http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com..._suppress.html work for the 8310 as well? I followed them exactly and it messed up my whole phone and DM. Now when I go to my DM and app loader it tells me there is no software for my device at all, and when I go to synch nothing happens.

how did you go about it? if you downloaded files and switched them with the originals then yes you would screw up your phone.

those files if you looked were for the pearl. not the curve.

Let me know i can get you up and running

an easier way is to simply remove the ptt cod file from the java folder located in the loader files...open up the java folder, find the ONE ptt file, hi-lite, delete...run app loader, all done

I'm new so forgive my potentially silly question, but where do I find the loader files? Thanks!
