Everytime I send a MMS msg it doesnt send I just get a red X ... BlackBerry Curve forum

    Everytime I send a MMS msg it doesnt send I just get a red X instead of a check mark.

    I get those alot. Usually I just go the the sent message and click "resend". It usually goes through and gives me the check mark.
    The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, some1 said 2 thmslvs "U knw, I really want 2 set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close engh to get the job done".

    Yeah I have 180 in it. Its been happening for like a week. when I try to resend the msg the same thing happens.

    Once you get the red X, if you go back into the message, at the top by the recipient line, there should be a specific error message. Perhaps that will help us decipher the issue.

    Are you on Tmobile? I know there's been issues with MMS with them in the past.

    If you have an 8320 unlocked and are trying to use it on AT&T, the MMS function does not work. Don't know if that is it...

    Check with your carrier to make sure you are configured correctly for MMS messages.

    I get those occasionally on ATT and try resending the message and it works. Not sure why this happens. I have had ATT remove and re-add the SMS/MMS provisioning on my account and that helped.

    No... this isn't that issue... in the scenario u describe the MMS option isn't even on the phone???

    Dream Rider is right call your provider...I had that same issue resolved today. Support had t manually check the mms enabler for my phone. Normally if you send yourself a MMS message and receive successfully it notifies the system to allow MMS messages. Apparently this doesnt work sometimes and the support has to check the box manually, once done they send a test MMS message and everything works perfectly. Well at least in my case :-) Hopefully they can help you out also. Give it a shot, only takes a few minutes.

    Also make sure you're not running other applications that take up your TCP connections. You have a limited amount, I think its like 3.

    make sure you have MMS on your plan otherwise they will block it.
