    Check the settings for whatever profile you are using. Make sure MMS settings are what you want. You can select a ringtone/alert. You want to make sure the "Volume" setting isn't set to mute. The same goes for each email account, SMS, and every app that needs to notify you.

    it's under mms, so you would have to define mms sounds in your profile

    Also, make sure the in holser and out of holster setting are both set to your preference.

    Loud = Max Volume
    Normal = Won't make you're ears bleed but still notice it.
    Mute = Umm ...No Sound
    Vibrate = Movement in you're pocket

    lol go figure...
    can someone please explain to me why I can only hear audio from recieved messages when I have my profile set to (loud)?
    but then all my ringtones convert to a preloaded ring...So therefore I have to go back to (phone only) to get my custome ringtones back...
    Is there a setting I can leave it on to be able to hear the audio of the text message and keep my same custome ringtones????

    Dude, each profile has to be setup to your liking. In each profile you have to setup how you want to be notified for EVERYTHING. Go to your profiles, select LOUD. Select PHONE, and choose a ringtone. This will be your default ringtone for that profile. Once you save the ssettings for PHONE, you can select MMS, SMS, each email account, etc. and choose your settings for that application.

    the LOUD profile is not a louder version of the Normal one. Each profile is a separate and distinct set of settings that you need to go through and select.
