rebooting! do i need to buy an ipod?

Ok I did a quick search and could not find my problem. I've had my 8310 Feb of 08'. I just started working out at the gym and decided to load some music to make the time go by faster. Well after 45 minutes of playing my BB reboots? Has anyone else had this problem? Would hate to buy an ipod just to listen to music when my BB does a good job. Minus the rebooting. This has happened a total of 4 times. And in case anyone asks 1st I have done a battery pull and fairly sure I have the latest OS for AT&T. TIA

I use my bb8310 for music all the time and I have never had this problem. Are you using a bluetooth headset or a wired one?

I use mine when snowboarding so it's on for a good 6 hours or so constantly. I would double check to see if the OS is the latest one.

No problems here either when using the Pearl as an MP3 player.

Try updating to the most recent OS from Singapore. Maybe that will solve the problem.

I'm not that savy to try a different OS. I still need to see if I'm on the latest OS version. I need to check when I get home from work. Thanks for everyone who has chimed in so far ~via Crackberry BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Update: Ok I finally had a chance to see which OS I have. for ATT I do have the current one. One thing I did forget to add on when I orginally did this post was. I use the shuffle option as I do not have any playlists yet. Could that be the issue? TIA!

It has about....15% left on it on average. And no, the shuffle shouldn't affect it because I use shuffle on mine. When I'm snowboarding it's in my otterbox case and I keep that in the holster to save more battery. I just don't change songs.

Salmlvsbb, the bb uses less battery for music then it does for voice. I can use mine on a 4 hour roadtrip and still have over half battery, you try to talk on the phone at anytime you are doing that and the battery is exhausted.
