    re-locking Vendor Themes?

Happy Memorial day everyone! Hope your all enjoying your three day weekend.

I previously unlocked two vendor themes that I liked (tim and uk tmo) and would like to lock them again, so that I have more memory free.

How would I go about doing this? Thanks guys for any help

Reinstall the OS. This will put back vendor.xlm (or just rename it back if you were clever enough to just rename it instead of deleting it).

Once it's in place, run Application Loader, and it should automatically uninstall the themes.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ when I unlocked the themes I simply replaced the number with my tmo number. I have not deleted a single thing. Howeve, when I go put the numbers back into the original format and try to update my bb, it doesn't recognize any "updates". So what now? Re-download the original os and install?

Yes Chadz, everytime I edited the number I saved it. However, there is still not update alert like there should be. I am going to try and re-dpwnload the current tmo os and see if that works.

He means did you save the "original" .alx file?
If you did, all you have to do is drag this back in to replace the modified one, run DM and App loader and your unlocked themes should be gone.

If you didn't save the original .alx file then you will have to delete the OS off your PC and re-download it again and run DM>App loader to get the original .alx back on to your BB.

Now I'm not an expert but I have unlocked the themes on few different OS's. The only thing I can think of is delete your dm and start over. Help this helps. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Hey Lavagirl, thanks for the feedback.. I did save the original file and when I go into DM to "add" the original back in, it says that I can not do so. I am not sure exactly what you mean by click and drag to replace the modified alx. Perhaps deleting the os off my laptop and re-downloading is the best bet.
