    Thank you so much!

I'm just trying to get a real understanding of the hardware. The way I see it the 8320 is probably better anyway since it's a newer platform. Perhaps the analogy doesn't apply (?) but on servers and pc's even if specs are the same then the front side bus is faster on one, etc. there are usually smaller things that can make a difference. I'd hate to get the 8120 only to have it be a slower platform, the $50 is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, getting the best device for your money is more important to me.

Kieran had asked me for some details and was a little confused as to what was under NDA and what was not(The Device NDA's are pretty complicated) so he decided to let me post back directly

The 8320 is overall faster. The amount of NVRAM is a little higher than that of the pearl due to a large JVM cache required to operate the OS and some of the higher level functionality. The Pearl does run a little slower when typing message due to the suretype calculating possibilities using its ITE(Internal Translation Engine).

Hope this helps, if you need any more info, please post back and I'll try and post as much as I can
