Quick question from a new curve user

I have had a pearl for about a year and recently switched to the curve. I have many blackberry messenger contacts on my pearl. Now the curve has a different PIN. Can I still keep all the old contacts although I have a new PIN now?

If people want to add me, do they need my new PIN or the old PIN?

They will need you new PIN, but if you want to keep them still with you , you can transfer all your data via Desktop manager.
from that you will get all the things same on your new device what you had on older one : contacts, mails, BB list, notes, memos, alarms, texts & etc.

you need not to tranfer everything indivisual

    simeezee,

I used the Switch Device Wizzard (DM 4.3) to move from an 8100 to an 8320 and my BBM contacts not only moved but worked fine with no additional action needed. I am told it is hit or miss but give it a try!

I used the Switch Device Wizzard and everything works perfectly afterwards. Thanks so much. So I will just tell people my new PIN from now on.

I could never get BBMessenger contacts moved from one BB to a new one. I had to add them one by one.
