Is there a way when I lock the keyboard, that the screen will go to the clock and lock. Kind of like it does when I have it on the charger???

Loving this phone for the most part.

There's a lock icon in the home screen and I heard on some phones (I think the 8900 you can hold the '*' key to lock the phone.

Please try this: in Clock, press Menu> Options>Set the Clock Face>Lock Screen. Here's your 8900 Themes

I think that could be dependent upon what theme you have.

I think that could be dependent upon what theme you have. Certain themes show different images when the device is in locked mode. My Curve shows Jimmy Page's double guitar and the time

If you google it there's a NYTimes link where someone mentions having done it without explaining how. Couldn't find it on RIM's site.

Go into your media player, highlight the song you want, press menu and select Set as Ringtone

    OR

Go to Profiles ( Speaker icon ) Select Advanced> Select Profile that is Active>Scroll down to Phone > you can then set the Out of Holster and In Hoster Ringtones.

    OR

If you wish to assign a certain Ringtone to one of your contacts go to Contacts>Select the Contact>Hit Menu Key>Select ADD Custom Ringtone>Select Ringtone and save.

If you aren't applying a ringtone to a specific person, ranxoren's method would be the fastest because the media player allows you to search for the song you want. I have about 1300 songs on my BlackBerry and scrolling through them for a ringtone is a nuisance.
