Quick Key for Adjusting Screen Brightness

Is there a quick-key or way to assign one so that you can make on-the-fly adjustments to the screen brightness without going through the entire options/settings menus?

I upgraded to an 8330 from an older 7250 - where you could change screen brightness from low to full to none, with a key on the keypad.

Are you talking about the standby key? Nothing happens to screen brightness on my 8330 when I tap it....

Sorry guys I misread it and thought he had an 8830. The 88xx series has this feature.

    **sigh**

I miss that feature, too, having upgraded from a 7290 to an 8310.
