Question Questions about Curve 8310 OS choices

As of now I am running 4.5.0.102 OS on my curve. I'm satisfied with it.(very)
However, I keep seeing posts about 4.5.0.89 and others. My questions are:
What makes one better than the other?
What "feature" (for lack of better words) does one 4.5 OS have that the others do not?
    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

Many of the earlier 4.5 versions for the curve were a bit unstable and tended to have issues such as java errors, lag / hour glass hangs, and big memory leaks. My personal opinion is that some carriers put them on the market before they were quite ready. Later versions are much more stable and at this point if you find one you are happy with there is not a big, compelling reason to switch. I have .81 on my 8320 and have been satisfied enough to ignore the later releases.

    Smile Thanks

Thanks Gary, for the detailed answers.... As I don't have any trouble with the .102, I'll not experiment with others.

Yes for most people .102 has/is the best. The newest OS is 4.5.0.110. Honestly, it's a little bit faster than .102, but it's real hard to tell any difference. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

i always wondered what the difference is for the last few numbers, im running .81 and would upgrade to .102 but if theres no point going from .102 to .110, it cant be that much of an upgrade?

Yeah, I was curious too.......... Gary F's and karabear's answers were great. Like Karabear said, "if it's not broke don't fix it." And like Gary F said none really give compelling reason to change.
