    Question about unlocked 8320?

I know that the only real issue with an ulocked 8320 is MMS messages right?

So if my wife is taking a picture with her iPhone, and sending it via email from the iPhone, as that is one of the options when you take a pic, I get the email but no pic...on my 8320, on the PC where my email comes, I get the pic, its embedded into the email, is this a MMS message then? When its supposed to be an email?

    Thoughts?

I believe that if your wife is sending it as an email, then its an email... not an MMS. Considering that you are using an unlocked device, there may be an issue with how data handling is provisioned for your SIM card versus the device you are using the SIM in (even though its unlocked).

So maybe if it were not an unlocked phone, it might work?

my advice would be to email from the iphone to a properly setup 8320... if that works, then you know that something between a correctly provisioned/paired SIM and phone to your setup is different. who is your SIM contract through?

understood, but you cant just throw any sim card with data on it into an 8320 and have it work... has to be provisioned for blackberry internet, etc...

    Re: Question about unlocked 8320?

Its worked, 1 out of 3 times we've tested it. So it does work.
Turns out it was the email address she was sending it to.
The first time it was my work, then my personal cox email.

Not sure why work would remove/block this email but I guess it did?
