    Question about Themes & Folders

Quick question: I have been using the tmobile theme and had all of the folders set up with what I wanted in them. I just now downloaded some AWESOME themes from Cherri (YOU ROCK CHERRI) and I no longer have my folders. Do I have to remake my folder with every theme change or is there an easy way to keep my folders while changing themes?

Or is there an easy way to create/edit folder on my computer through the Desktop Manager?

Re: Question about Themes & Folders

What does it mean when you highlight a theme then hit the key w/the bb symbol and a menu comes up and says Reset Theme Defaults? Will that get all my folders organized and stuff or just delete the themes that I have downloaded so far?

Oh and "Reset Theme Defaults" does just that. If you modify a theme by adding folders, changing wallpapers etc., using that feature will return it to the way it came before you changed it.

Um, Amanda, did you understand what he said?

This means that if you have folders and settings created/set, and you "Reset Theme Defaults" all those will be erased.

Whenever I change to a new theme that I just downloaded, or haven't used before, it always gets rid of my settings and folders. A nit picky thing I don't like about the Curve. But once you get a few themes set up on your device, it remembers your settings and folders for the next time you feel like changing.

Amanda... once you set them up in a particular theme... they will stay, but with each new one u use, you have to set them up again -

    th3gh05t,

This is true of all Ver 4.2 blackberry themes, and is totally necessary since the Theme Builder allows you to create folders within the program. Therefore all folders settings are set to the default for the theme upon loading the theme and first activation.

    Hope this helps

Ya, I don't have that theme builder application. I guess cause I font create themes. Hmm... maybe I should get into that.
