    i have the 8300 and i have 5mb of Internet/MEdia Net thru my wireless plan. so i never use the internet on my phone unless its important and i always have my mobile network turned off unless i get on the internet on my phone. and it says i used 1mb of my media and net on my plan. so my question is when i upload applications to my phone does it use internet or media??? and the app i upload dont use internet so that cant affect it. sorry if this comes off as a stupid question. have mercy on me. thank you for your replies in advance

    if you install them via USB no.

    could it be that its show like this:
    1kb to 1mb = 1mb
    1,1mb to 1,9mb = 2MB
    And so on.

    ALX files do not use internet, however, when you connect to the wireless network you send some data, so if you connect 100 times a day, you'll prolly use 100kb a day there

    ok i got it. i try not to use the internet a whole lot. i just use it to check my email but i only do that maybe once a week. i do only upload through the usb cord. thanks much

    keep in mind some attachments also use internet to download depending on file type etc..
