No there isn't. Sorry, the only way you'll be able to use it is to get the password right, or have the device wiped. And I would recommend having a talk with your friend.

Once you fail to enter the password 10 times, the device will wipe all information but it's like a brand new Blackberry. You'll still be able to use it, no reason to be scared.

AT&T can not remove the password for you.

I feel you pain, have had this happen to me with my pearl. I got it wrong on the 10 try and everything was wiped. Like ssnxp is saying your BB just gets all its info erased, its still usable and as good as new.
Let this be a lesson to back up REGULARLY!
I hope you get it man, I really do

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~one idea if you have not erased it yet. Check to see if the number lock is on. If it is (you will see NUM in the top rt. corner) press ALT and the lock will go off. Then try password. Good luck.

If Provisioned on BES, the BES admin could reset the password, giving you another 10 tries.

    Good luck.

That's a really painful situation. Hopefully you can pull it off on the last try.

But try to keep things in perspective. What in your life will change if you lose the data on your BB? I know it isn't ideal - but your life won't fall apart if you lose a few pictures. And you can be certain that you'll never experience this again.

You've probably helped to prevent some other forum members from going too long without a back up.

Good luck. Update us after your last try.

Would pulling the SD card before the wipe save his pictures?

This only works if Content protection is NOT enabled

The security wipe process does not affect the MicroSD card
