problem with HTML emails on BB 8900

Just got my bb with T-Mobile. at some point HTML email stops coming through. I have deleted service books, pulled the battery, resent the service books and it started working again. Later on HTML emails are not coming through and are all plain text. Anyone faced similar issue and has a solution?
    I am on 4.6.152.

    Thanks

With your html email do the emails contain at least the borders for the pictures? If this is what you are seeing then that's the way it's supposed to be. With html email you still have to manually download the images.

No. No borders. The emails are coming in as plain text as the could. Just the way they do when HTML email is turned off in options or on earlier OS versions.

It's gotta be your service books...this happened to me once...then it stopped. Just make sure you do have all the service books and the device is registered to the network.

Basically go onto T-mobile with your PC and make sure the PIN and IMEI is actually switched to the new device. Hopefully that will help. Let us know how it goes

ok. I will try your suggestion and will report back. It is just odd that emails would just default to plain text for no apparent reason.

So I resent services and the emails started coming in HTML...and then stopped. Any other suggestions, anyone?

I'm not sure what to tell you.

Did you double check that your device was the one actually the one assigned to the network?

I don't know what you mean. How do you check that?

You can actually do it from your phone.

Go to the Icon "Manage Internet Email"

It should log you into your account. From there you have a few choices.

    Pick "change device".

The PIN should be already entered just enter your IMEI.

That should make sure it ties the device to your BIS account.

Thanks for your suggestion. After hours of frustration and deleting/installing services books, etc., I went back to *.114 and HTML email works like a charm. If I feel adventurous anytime soon, I'll install *.152 again.
