    Problem

I forgot to delete the Vendor.xml when installing the O2 software onto my Curve. Is there any reversing the process or any way I can start over and re-install after deleting Vendor.xml? I have no problem erasing all data on my Curve, it's still relatively new and there's barely anything on it.

if you didn't delete the vendor.xml file then it *shouldn't* have installed on to your device.
did you receive a prompt asking you to downgrade? assuming your device has the US os on it which is a bit newer in digits than the 02?

    Re: Problem

Well, the thing is, I'm trying to get the T-Mobile Zen theme on my Curve, so I edited the Blackberry.alx file on the O2 software and then installed it without delete the Vendor.xml file. Right now, there is no TMo Zen theme on my device, and I assumed it was because I left the Vendor.xml file there.

I really wish someone else besides myself has at least tried this if not been successful and could walk me through it, I'm a real newbie at this stuff.

Actually if you're on O2 and using the O2 software you don't need to delete the vendor.xml file. If edited right the BB should just prompt you to update. I can look into this further in a bit. At work now but ill be off soon. Hang in there.

    Re: Problem

I'm on TMo. The only reason I'm using the O2 software is because nobody else is offering a software download at this point, and I needed a Blackberry.alx file to edit so that I could attempt to get the TMo Zen theme, which I ended up failing at anyway. :P

    Re: Problem

Ok sorry was on my bb could tell if you were on TMO or not.
So you're using the O2 OS and you edited the AXL file? Which file sets did you put the vendor code if front of? Hopefully you're putting if front of the ones for the 8300?

Sorry I'm not sure what the axl file looks like for the 8300. You can send me it and I can look over it.
