So far I have never upgraded since I got this phone. Everything is still running good although I have downloaded quite a bit of apps;opera mini, viigo, slacker, weathereye, mobile bartender, myspace, gmaps, didiom, berrybuzz. Just to name a few. Youtube and tinytube work. Never completely froze while doing multiple tasks ex, streaming music while txting n on opera mini. So what do you think in your own opinion is the best os so far. Currently running .114

    .168

    Still battery issues though.

But, its stable for the most part. No battery pulls since installing. A BB miracle.

Using the hybrid OS (.152 and .133). It seems to work. The speed is good and the battery life is great.

.168 has been great for me. Battery life is good, but I can't tell if it's especially different from battery life with .152. UMA has been great with .168, and youtube works just fine on .168, with either EDGE or UMA. GPS has been working just fine for me with .168 as well.

I've been running .168 for just under a week now, and I've noticed absolutely no issues with it. I don't use YouTube on my 8900, so I haven't checked whether the functionality is back or not. My memory is holding steady and I've noticed absolutely no lagging.

I agree, .168 is a pretty solid OS. .174 is very new. Wait a week or so to see how it fares in the real world. So far I'm not overly impressed by .174. I've had Youtube issues and for me UMA seems to be a little bit flaky. Its only been a few hours so I need more time to test.

I personally am loving the .174 Beta OS. Everything is working perfectly for me and it does not have any lag issues like I had on .168. Very fast UI.. Youtube works great on mine.

Obviously, official OS releases are always the better, safer choice, but I upgraded to .174 last night, and haven't noticed any problems. No lagging, YouTube works (though I rarely use it), the UI is much snappier, and my memory jumped from around 114 to about 138. Also, there seems to be no troubles with battery life either. .174 is a good, stable beta OS, IMO.
