    Phone turns off randomly?!

My Curve 8300 on ATT keeps turning off randomly and the only way to turn it back on is to take the battery out and put it back in.

I got my curve around when it first came out..not exactly sure the date tho. i upgraded to OS 4.5.0.52 when it first became official (i think i used the rogers one) and its been working amaizingly...i did it to my dads curve (same as mines) and it works fine...

When the phone turns back on, it says the battery is drained and turns off the radio..i plug it in to charge and in less than 30 mins it says its fully charged.

I love my curve and dont want to upgrade yet (im waiting for the storm)

    HELP ANYONE?!

Yup, that was about to be my response...It sounds like a battery issue. It should take alot longer than 30 minutes to fully charge the battery. I would buy a new battery or even try your dads battery for a few hours, if that is an option, and confirmat that is the problem but it definitely sounds like a bad battery.

I had a similar problem with an old phone I had through verizon. Turned out to be a faulty battery causing the problem. I was able to get a pretty cheap replacement battery somewhere online.
